Privacy Notice

Last updated: 4 November 2026

This notice explains what personal data this website collects when you send a project inquiry, why, who can see it, where it may be processed, how long it is kept, and how to exercise your rights under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

Who is responsible

I am Wasem Ghazi Ahmed Alnahri, a licensed Saudi freelance software engineer (Saudi Freelancing Practitioner Certificate FL-643941582). I alone decide how the details you submit are used.

For any privacy request or question, email: alnahriw@gmail.com

What I collect

When you send a project inquiry through the form: the project details you choose or type (project type, industry, current setup, features, timeline, budget range, pain points and technical notes), your name, your email address, an optional phone number, how and when you would like to be contacted, the date and time you agreed to this notice, and whether you asked about the workshop. Please do not put sensitive personal data (health, financial or identity-document details) in the free-text fields.

When you only browse the site: standard visit data such as pages viewed, device and browser type and approximate region, collected by Google Analytics (see “Analytics and cookies” below).

Why I use it

To reply to your inquiry, understand your project, prepare a scope or quote, and contact you through the channel and at the time you chose. I do not sell your details, add them to a mailing list, or use them for automated decisions about you.

Legal basis: your consent

I only store your inquiry if you tick the consent box on the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting me, and I will delete your inquiry unless I must keep part of it for a legal reason.

Who can see it

Only me. To run the site I rely on service providers who handle data on my behalf: the server that hosts the site and its database; my own mail server, which sends the notification of your inquiry to my inbox (a Gmail account, so Google also processes that message); and Google Analytics for visit statistics.

Processing outside Saudi Arabia

Some of these providers (for example Google, for analytics and for the inbox that receives notifications) may process data on infrastructure outside the Kingdom. By submitting the form you agree to that transfer for the purpose of handling your inquiry. If you prefer not to, contact me by email instead of using the form.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies and may use advertising-measurement features linked to a Google Ads account. There is currently no cookie banner on the site. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with a content blocker, and the site works without them.

How long I keep it

Inquiry details are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted. If we start working together, the records needed for the engagement and for my legal and tax obligations are kept for as long as those require. Backup copies of the database are overwritten on a rolling basis, so a deleted record can remain in a backup for up to about two weeks.

Your rights

You can ask me to tell you what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, give you a copy in a readable format, or stop using it. Email me from the address you used on the form (or tell me which address it was) and I will respond as soon as I can and within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with my response you may complain to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the regulator for the PDPL.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, the dashboard where inquiries are read requires a password, and repeated login attempts are limited. No system is perfectly secure, and I cannot promise otherwise.

Changes to this notice

If I change how I use your data, I will update this page and its date. Earlier inquiries remain covered by the notice you agreed to when you sent them.
